The model in one paragraph
APC opens one business venture at a time. Each venture has a name, a reference, a stated purpose, a required capital amount and a fixed number of partnership units. Members choose how many units to take, contribute the amount for those units, and share in the actual result of that venture once its revenue and expenses are recorded.
What APC is not
- It is not a savings account and there is no interest.
- There is no fixed or guaranteed return of any kind.
- Money is never pooled into a general fund — every contribution belongs to one named venture.
- Business involves risk: a venture can produce a smaller result than expected, or a loss.
Business areas
The homepage section "Business areas where the club operates" lists the categories the club currently works in. Administrators maintain that list, so it always reflects the areas APC is genuinely active in. Every venture belongs to one of those categories.
